New bar and grill with nice open seating. Good fresh seafood in large portions at responsible prices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beer and wine selection could be better but they are starting out so hopefully it will get bigger. Good alternative to Rogue with better priced food and faster service.

I had a prime rib French dip and it was good. I was with a group of 8 people so we got the auto tip fee of 20% added on. Not cool with 20%, but ok with tipping.

A great place to eat. The restaurant is big and especially the food is absolutely amazing. If you ever come across this place, you should stop by and at least have a cup of clam chowder. Would definitely come again.

Good food and great service. Everyone was very polite and they adhered to COVID guidelines very nicely. Beer selection isn't as large as most but Rogue is across the way so you can also go there for more beer. Plus, the beers they have on tap or lovely for the meals they repare... they also have a wine and a full bar, Im a beer guy so didn't pay as much attention to those.

Really good food. All the kids ate everything up! Burgers are good. Great Mac and cheese with pulled pork.

By far the BEST food and SERVICE I have had at a restaurant in literally several years!!! Cant remember the last time I left a restaurant feeling extremely happy about the food and service I received!! I would be more than happy driving the 8.5 hours from my house just to go to this restaurant again!!!

Stopped in to have a bite to eat today with the family on our way back home and i must say this is a great place to eat the food was excellent. Fast friendly service as well. I myself work in a resturant an was very impressed we will definitely be back.

This was our first time at Off the Hook. And I am glad that we went here. It was nearly closed 8:30 pm, there were chairs already up in tables. My husband had the Pork Mac n Cheese and loved every bite. I had the fettuccine with grilled shrimp, to die for. I am quite the conisure of Italian food and this was fantastic, right down to the fresh garlic. What a find.

The service was good and the beer was cold and delicious. Our seafood platter seemed liked it came from the freezer. The calamari rings had good seasoning. The onion rings were good!

They're doing a good job with the Cove in Frabill mm all employees are covered and the place is clean the food is a little expensive. And a matter of fact a lot expensive. But the quality of the food doesn't seem to match the price. I guess that's just the price you pay for being at the coast.

You want a decent place to eat, at an affordable price (with grandkids), in a tourist trap like Newport, Oregon? This is your place. The food was better than expected. The service was fun and friendly. The final bill was lower than anticipated. We had a mix of fish and chips, salad, pasta, oysters, and a prime rib dip sandwich for dinner. No complaints from anyone in our group.

Food was great, my server in the other hand, wasn't interested in providing good service. It took him a long time to even greet me. Once he finally came to me, he didn't ask if I were ready, he asked "do you know what you want" and then just asked "what do you want?" Kept calling me "man" and then he even forgot to bring the soup I had ordered. Took a long time to get our check, but getting the slip to sign and leave a tip was quick...

Food was great (but the burger was kinda greasy) the staff was friendly and great.

Very good food and nice staff. Had the fish and chips, batter was perfectly thin&crunchy. Tartar sauce was very tasty as well. Highly recommend them!

Good sandwich and service.

When your meal is so good the world fades away and it's just you and the plate.... And you forget about your date. New restaurant, service was amazing and both of our meals were great. Got the clam chowder to go because it was the best on the coast. Hostess keeps an eye out the window and greets you at the door with menu's. I hope this place makes it through the first 6 months, they could give Georgie a run for his month.

Went in an hour before close and the bartender sure let us know we only had an hour. Had coconut shrimp and calamari for apps. Calamari was good shrimp was over cooked and over breaded. The only flavor of coconut was in the sauce. Ordered dinner to go. Had crab cakes, oysters and blt. Thank God for the BLT. The oyster were under cooked and over breaded, the veggies tasted like what a urinal smells like and the crab cakes were over breaded and under seasoned. Bartender didn't check on us for another round of drinks. Was pretty much disappointing all around.

Clean, open kitchen! Decent Margarita, the pulled pork mac was a little bland. Had to add BBQ sauce, thought the prices were just a touch high but it was very family friendly and GREAT waitress! Thanks Kacie! I Grew up in this neighborhood and it's nice to see they cleaned knocked the old one down and built something nice! 😊

Excellent fish n chips, great clam chowder too. Quiet, clean, great service. Perfect lunch after visiting the Aquarium.

Delicious food with superb service. My wife had the patty melt on sourdough bread with a side of fries. My son had the fish and chips. I had the French dip sandwich with fries. All were cooked to perfection. We added a slice of delicious peanut butter chocolate pie. All were no frills, no garnish.All was priced well for what was received with the exception of the pie. The slice was too small for the price. Think about 12 slices per pie at $5 a slice would make for a $60 pie. Ouch!See pictures below.

We absolutely love this place for our seafood kick when we visit the coast. Staff is always friendly and attentive!! Very understanding of kids with special needs!! We go every time we are at the coast!!

This place is awesome. It’s right across the street from the hotel and it is very kid friendly. It has the food your kids want and the beer and food you want after a long drive. Can’t go wrong with the fried chicken, the gravy is amazing, and the fish and chips.

This little place was in walking distance of our hotel and I'm so glad. It wasn't very busy for a Friday night which was nice. Our waitress was great and attentive. The food we had was amazing. If you like Oyster Shooters this place has something amazing...spicy vodka Oyster Shooters. They make the vodka themselves and they are so good. All of our food was good. The Artichoke, Parmesan crusted rock fish was delicious. Drinks were great! The only draw back we experience was it is was extremely loud in the open space.

Having worked in restaurants most of my life; I find myself to be hyper critical when dining out.Off the Hook Bar and Grill really delivered with an awesome staff and probably one of the best patty melts I've had. If you find yourself on the Coast I highly recommend them!

The name says it all. The restaurant is Off the Hook great. Great food selection and great quality. They also have an open bar and an attached candy shop. Walking distance from the Holiday Inn Express. Highly recommend.

Not a thing wrong with the food here. Had a cheesesteak and cheesy fries take out here and loved it. Food was uncommonly delicious for a bar, down to the cheese on the fries. All the food was cooked well, and they even give you take out in reusable totes. Highly recommend this place

After a bunch of frozen fries and tiny cups of coleslaw, it was really nice to have a proper meal at a good price! Rockfish was great. Razor clams were very good as well. Creative dishes, full portions and fresh veggies on our plates! Woooo! A proper meal for less than 20 bucks a pop. I'm happy!

Worst $5 burger I've ever paid $13.00 for. 40 minutes to make two burgers and fries? Are you kidding? If you're going to put jalapeno peppers on a burger take 30 extra seconds and seed them. Seriously. Maybe toss them on the grill with those onions you used from lunch?? Fire the cook and you wouldn't be comping so much product.

The food was yummy. The employees were friendly. My husband had the Baja Burger and I had the Western Buger. Both were tasty.

Overpriced, food was ok but portion size and quality vs price was dismal at best. The salmon Alfredo had a solid sauce but the salmon was not fresh, chewy, and sparse. For an 18$ entree, I was disappointed.
